End of the Road

I’ve counted the days we’ve walked along this path

It’s been so long since the day we have left our home

We are leaving our footprints behind to mark our territory

Come to find out that we are faced at a crossroad

And this is where our story began

So many hours, minutes and seconds to count

But the day has come, and we have to face it

It’s here and it’s time

To walk our separate ways to step into our own paths

I can’t imagine how my life would be like without you

As the road split apart, so do our own hearts

Listening to the rhythm in my head as it repeats

I know that we can’t see each other from the other side

At least we can say that we’ve tried
