Identity Crisis

Let me tell you about myself
Because I'm just like everybody else
Breathing the fresh air of life
Living the days I have left
But there is one thing you need to know
Don't ever tell me what to do anymore
How many times do I have to tell you?
I'd like to do what I want to do
I'd like to go where I want to go
I guess you just don't know
So, listen very carefully
I have something that's called a heart
And you have something that's called a soul
But you will never take control
Of the person who stands right before your eyes
This is who I am
This is where I belong
